Frame Sight Glass
Sight glass is a device used between any types of non-transparent pipelines to observe the liquid flow. This can be used in horizontally and vertically of pipes. Sight glass is constructed in such a way that it gives a complete vision from any angle. A sight glass consists of a glass pipe section, a metal structure, and a pair of ptfe bushes, washers and an acrylic cover. Borosilicate pipe is highly resistant to the heat, has an excellent chemical and thermal resistance of low expansion. Metal frame is made up of two flanges that are welded with studs so that the stresses and the vibrations of the pipeline are not transferred to the glass pipe. To verify its nut maintains the glass tube in the compression section and provides the substitution facility. ptfe washers are used like gaskets while the fitting the sight glass in the pipeline. Acrylic covered with glass covers the tube with section and it protects it of external damages.
